Volunteer Centre Broxbourne's mission is to provide the best training and support towards work experience opportunities and employment. This course will look at competency based CV's, how to adapt a CV to suit a specific job and using appropriate and positive language. Advice and support will be provided around completing job application forms and how to match your experience and skills to the requirements of the role. It will also help to improve communication and interpersonal skills in an interview as well as the opportunity to practice mock interviews to give learners the experience of being in an interview situation. Volunteer Centre Broxbourne is the leading organisation in Broxbourne and East Herts for promotion, recruitment and management of volunteers in our community. We provide information, advice and guidance about careers, work and learning opportunities, supporting adults to progress in life and work. We also offer personal development training, employability support through CV workshops, setting up an email account, Skills Health Check, completing job applications and interview skills.
