What will I study? This course will develop your performance skills and dance techniques in Ballet, Contemporary and Jazz classes and performances both in and outside of the College. You will experience dance styles such as physical theatre, improvisation and commercial dance and be encouraged to create your own pieces and showcase your work at performances. You will also have the opportunity to join our touring company and gain valuable experience in working as a dancer as part of a company. Although the emphasis is on practical assignments, you will need to complete written assessments in the form of evaluative log books and rehearsal diaries and contextual and business studies. You will be working on industry projects where some students will engage with external clients and companies, developing your experience in the world of work and performance.
