What will I study? This artistic development program is an ideal opportunity for learners to reflect on their own artistic output and have their works, image and business models analysed in a safe educational environment. This is a development program for creative artists who are at the point of presenting themselves to the Music Industry. This course is particularly suited to singer songwriters, performers and producers. The course develops a learners understanding of themselves as artists relevant to their current output, its broader context and its potential destination. As a result of the deconstruction process a learner will be in a position to make relevant, informed choices in relation to their further development as artists. Students who have been successful in these units will be invited to upgrade to the full diploma and perform a showcase to industry. The Level 4 Artist Development pathway is a flexible, relevant and practically-orientated route which assesses the process of artist development through a specified time period in response to personalised target setting and to internal and external stimuli.
