This is a gentle paced basic digital literacy course covering a combination of skills such as; Introduction to a computer and developing online skills, Digital media skills such as how to use a Digital Camera and introduces Social Networking in particular Facebook. This course is suitable for those not familiar with using computers and who would like to gain necessary knowledge and skills for everyday life or for those out of the workforce for a while who need to build self-confidence and gain necessary employability skills. You will also learn a variety of skills such as; introduction to business and administration, understanding IT in the workplace and Health and Safety procedures in the workplace. There are two qualifications linked to this course: NOCN Entry level award in Vocational studies and BCS entry level award in Digital Skills both an ideal addition to your CV
