Watercolours Mixed Ability III

On this course you will continue to develop your skills in watercolour painting. You will study a wider range a range of subject matter and will be encouraged to blend different techniques to achieve specific effects. The tutor will provide exercises and resource material to practice and work from. You will also be encouraged to bring in source material of your own to develop your own style through experimentation and then produce a final painting for peer critique. You will continue to study the work of well-known artists for inspiration. You will learn: How to approach different subjects, agreed as a whole group, at the beginning of the course. This could include a seascape, landscape, portrait, abstract or still-life. How to develop your individual style of painting through experimentation and range of techniques and blending How to produce a final exhibition piece through the exploration of colour combinations, compositional arrangements and techniques
