During this year you will focus on 3 units: F919: Care Practice and Provision It is important that all workers understand their role in meeting individuals needs and how working in partnership can support their work F920: Understanding Human Behaviour and Development - Examination This unit provides an understanding of the influences that can affect growth and development and of the concepts and theories that can be used to explain human behaviour F922: Child Development This unit enables candidates to investigate the development of children from birth to eight years and to consider the influences that can affect their development How will I be assessed? Assessment will be through written course work which will form 67% of the overall mark and through written examination which will form the final 33% of the overall mark Where does it lead? You will develop a broad understanding of Health and Social care principles which could give you the opportunity to focus on a specific career pathway, for example in health care, social care, early years or education.
