This course can lead to careers in a wide variety of beauty therapy settings e.g. spas',' salons',' television studios',' or as a beauty salon owner',' make-up consultant and much more. Units include (but are not limited to) : - Manicure - Pedicure - Facial - Eye treatments - Waxing - Make up - Lash and brow treatments - Salon reception duties Functional skills in English and Maths are a key part of this course. You will be assessed by portfolio',' examinations and performance of commercial treatments. Please note that you will be required to purchase equipment and clothing from an external supplier for this course. Enrichment opportunities are also available at additional cost',' including: gel nails',' airbase make-up',' lash extensions',' intimate waxing',' ear piercing and attending professional beauty exhibitions. Entry Requirements: You need four GCSEs (grade C or above',' including English language and a science subject) or a Level 1 Diploma in Beauty Therapy',' with English and maths grade E or equivalent.
