Students will gain an understanding of the scientific way in which behaviour is studied using a variety of research methods and approaches. Students will gain knowledge and understanding of research methods, practical research skills and mathematical skills. These skills will be developed through carrying out ethical practical research activities, involving design and conducting research as well as analysing and interpreting data. Students will learn how to analyse arguments and evidence, test hypotheses and make informed judgement. It also develops student's communication and problem solving skills.
