Our Weaving Without a Loom course will introduce you to some basic weaving techniques and processes that can be achieved without the cost and practical constraints of using a loom. You will explore the use of card, wire and wood frames to create beautiful woven textiles. The range of materials that it is possible to use is as wide as your imagination and may include, wool, fabric, paper, plastic, metal and natural forms. You will also consider the uses that the woven material produced can be put to. Beginners and those with some experience. It is important to note that craft courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity.
