Entry requirements

If you are a new student and have no materials please wait for your tutor's advice on what to buy. You will need to provide your own materials and these will vary in cost according to the needs of the course. Please do not buy anything especially for the course before it starts, but if you have any appropriate materials/equipment, please bring them along to the first session. New students may wish to bring a simple selection of opaque paint to the first session (mid-red, mid-yellow, mid-blue and white in either gouache or acrylic paint). In addition, a small selection of brushes and some paper or a sketchbook. Please don't feel obliged to go to great expense; the cheaper shops will do just as well! Refreshers may bring along any paints or drawing materials they already have with which they like to work. The tutor will give any further advice necessary.
