With artist Clare Langlands, you will have fun exploring how to draw at The Beaney, using the Museum's diverse and fascinating collection as a resource. Each session is carefully structured and designed to make the very best use of your time. Through a series of engaging art activities, you will be shown how to explore different techniques, processes and ideas and begin to develop your own unique drawing style. The course is suitable for beginners and those with some experience of drawing. This course will run on the following dates: 20/9, 27/9, 11/10 and 18/10., , By the end of the course you should be able to, • Sketch with increased accuracy and confidence, • Experiment with form, line, pattern and texture, • Use a selection of drawing materials with some confidence, • Generate ideas for further drawing using The Beaney collection as a resource. , , There is no 'homework' for this course, but you might like to research artists and ideas referred to on the course in your own time., There is no qualification for this course.
