This 10 week course will examine the unique contribution that Britain has made to Art History. Looking at painting, sculpture and architecture, the course will feature Wren, Blake, Turner, the Pre-Raphaelite and Arts and Crafts movements, war art, Moore and Hepworth among others., , This course is delivered in partnership with Francesca Howard from River Garage Studio. She is an artist specialising in abstracts and is the owner of River Garage Studio. She has a BA Hons degree in History of Art from the University of East Anglia, specialising in Early Italian Renaissance and Dutch 17th Century. She later gained a PGCE to teach Art History. Francesca also writes a blog on colour and its emotional impact.
