The course looks at basic design theory, colour, texture, pattern , balance. You will work from an individual source to produce original ideas. You will learn how to draw a scale plan with colour elevation, produce a mood board and a sample board with emphasis on creativity. We look at colour combinations, lighting, textiles, paints. The final outcome will be a well designed room, complete with plans, elevations and swatches., , There is a small amount of homework or research to do in preparation for each lesson. This course is suitable for those who want inspiration for their own projects at home or those who wish to start looking into the first steps in starting to do interior design commercially.
