Then this Accounting City and Guilds Level 3 Award course in Canterbury is for you. This award is offered internationally and is a benchmark for world-class skills and many candidates who complete the Level 3 award go on to complete professional accountancy qualifications that will lead them into considerable opportunities in industry and commerce., , The aim of this qualification is to meet the needs of candidates who work or want to work in job roles such as: Accounting Technicians, Accounts/Finance Clerks, Private Practice Accountants, a Self-employed Bookkeeper or an Accounts Manager/Finance Officer in a small/medium company or charity. , , At Level 3 the qualification further develops the practices and processes studied at Level 1 and 2 to enable candidates to record and interpret financial transactions up to and including final accounts. , , There are eight learner outcomes that make up this award and on successful completion you will be able to:, , - Prepare financial information for a sole trader business, - Prepare financial information for a partnership, - Prepare financial information for limited liability companies, - Prepare financial information for not-for-profit organisations, - Prepare financial information to record the manufacturing process in final accounts, - Prepare financial information for a sole trader from incomplete records, - Prepare a balance sheet, - Analyse and interpret final accounts., , **PLEASE NOTE: Regular attendance, a high level of commitment and approximately 2-4 hours of home study per week are required of you to be successful on this course. There are also 3 Saturday sessions which you will need to attend, two tutorials (17 September 2016 and 25 March 2017) and an exam on 22 April 2017. Book (approx £25) and optional training software package (approx £35) - your tutor will advise you at the start of the course. You will also need a calculator (not one built into a mobile phone), a notebook, pen, pencil, eraser, ruler, highlighter and correction tape. Please also bring a large ring binder with 10 dividers and clear pockets or hole punch for handouts.
