Observational skills will be developed throughout and students will learn basic techniques of painting in watercolour. , The tutor for this course will guide you through:, What to look for to help you when making your drawings, Consider the composition of the image on the paper, Colour matching your palette to your plant or flower, Drawing and the use of line for accuracy , Help with the understanding of plant biology, This is a very considered art that can help you produce drawings to be proud of., The Sessions will be tutor led, to enable you to build your knowledge and skills in a progressive structured fashion leading to the opportunity for more self directed work as the course progresses and you build your confidence in the subject. Entry requirements

If you are a new student and have no materials please wait for your tutor's advice on what to buy at the first lesson. However, you should bring an A4 sketchbook of good quality cartridge paper, preferably with a hard cover and ring bound and a variety of pencils.
