Cake Decorating - Sugarcraft - Make Sugar Flowers

This course is an ideal introduction to the basic techniques required for painting on cakes. You will learn how to dilute dust colours to the correct consistency for painting and will learn how templates can be used to transfer designs on to icing ready for painting. You will also look at some free-hand painting techniques. You will have the opportunity to practise the techniques and experiment with colours before completing a small design suitable for use as a cupcake topper., , By the end of this course you should be able to -, - Dilute and mix dust colours to the correct consistency for painting, - Use templates to transfer designs on to icing, - Demonstrate use of the painting techniques, - Complete a small painted design suitable for use as a cupcake topper., - Use all tools and equipment safely, , This Sugarcraft course is suitable for anyone interested in learning basic royal icing piping techniques.
