Sewing - Beginners and Improvers

If you would llike to find out all about your sewing machine whilst working on a few simple sewing projects then this course is ideal for you ., You will find out how to put in a zip, make a variety of different seams, make buttonholes along with how to read and use a pattern. These skills will be included in a variety of sewing projects such as simple cushions, bags, bunting and later in the course a simple cutting pattern. This course is suitable for complete beginners but would also be a good refresher course. Students are welcome to bring their own machines or use one at the centre., Please note as with all our craft courses, good manual dexterity is needed .
