Hand Knitting - Introduction

This knitting course teach you the basic knitting skills and techniques needed to follow a simple pattern. You will work on small projects which will cover various topics including reading knitting patterns/charts/symbols; colour work; knitting with beads; knitted button holes; sewing up knitted garments using Mattress Stitch. By the end of the course you will be able to:, Read and understand basic patterns, symbols, charts and terminology., Understand how to work and produce various stitch patterns., Understand and be able to perform various knitting techniques., Work on a small knitting project, Be aware of and work to relevant Health and Safety guidelines, , This course is for those who no experience of knitting and would like to learn this vintage craft., It is important to note that craft courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity.
