This 10 hour British Sign Language - Basics course in Canterbury is designed as a basic introduction to BSL for both those that have an interest in learning just a little or for those who wish to use this course as a stepping stone before joining an exam course. , , By the end of the course successful students will be able to:, * Fingerspell names etc and use fingerspelling to support signing, * Meet and greet others and exchange simple information, * Sign numbers up to 20, * Identify and use vital communication tactics with Deaf people, , To gain maximum benefit students will need to practice between sessions., , , There is limited parking on site, but there is a public car park nearby and on-street parking.
