Flower Arranging - Feng Shui Flowers

On this course we will look at hthe five elements of feng shui, starting with water., .By the end of the course you should be able to:, - create a variety of differing styles of floral arrangements using fresh flowers and foliage, - confidently apply floristry techniques to an appropriate level, - understand the care and conditioning needs of a variety of plant material, - show a knowledge and understanding about seasonal plant material, - demonstrate an awareness of basic design and colour theory , , Homework is not a requirement of the course, but you will need to source flowers for your class each week. This course is perfect for those who are complete novices with an interest in the subject and students who need a refresher on the subject.

Entry requirements

You will be advised each week on the flowers you need to bring. You will need to spend an average of £5 each week on flowers. For the first session please bring a bowl of any shape about 6" 15cm wide and no more than 5" 12cm hign; a 12"30cm square of chicken wire ( the tutor will have some to buy if needed; a collection of flowers and foliage from your garden; a bunch of tulips; scissors., , Equipment required You will be advised each week on the flowers you need to bring.
