If you have been practising yoga for a while and feel you have a grasp on the yoga basics including breathing technique, posture and balance, then this 'Yoga - Improvers' course in Tunbridge Wells is for you. It will offer you an opportunity to be around people of a similar experience and ability as well as providing you with a more challenging exercise routine that will develop and extend your practice. Your tutor will explain the benefits and how you can apply them to your daily life through your continued regular practice at home., , By the end of this course you should be able to:, • Demonstrate and hold advanced postures using correct alignment, • Practice skilled control of breath, • Describe, explain and correct own posture and movement, • Link a number of postures to perform a flowing sequence, , You will need to be able to follow verbal instructions, observe and copy physical movements and use spatial awareness within a group. Although there is no specific work set outside of the class, students will gain most benefit if exercises are performed regularly and practised between classes.

You may be advised not to take part if you are not dressed appropriately. , , Students need to bring a mat to work on and may wish to bring a towel.
