Massage - Introduction

This course is an introduction to massage techniques. The course will cover the health and safety aspects of massage, including contra-indications to massage, and a variety of massage routines. The course will involve pair work and some undressing of the upper body. Students will have the opportunity to practise massage routines on themselves and others and will be aware of the benefits of massage for stress and tension relief. By the end of the course, they will be able to perform a basic massage routine safely This is short massage introductory course suitable for any adult who is interested in learning how to massage themselves, family or friends to promote a feeling of well-being. Due to the use of oils in some sessions this course is not be suitable for pregnant women.
