Design and create a stained glass panel or decorative item using traditional lead methods and/or copper foil. Students on this Stained Glass course in Tonbridge will learn the techniques of traditional leadwork to produce a finished stained glass item. Areas covered will include designing, cutting glass, assembling the project and cementing and soldering. By the end of the course students should be able to:, , Use skills and techniques relevant to all the making processes., Design, make (using personal ideas) and evaluate Stained Glass pieces , Understand the decorative and finishing aspects of Stained Glass, Work with Stained Glass confidently and creatively., Further develop personal ideas/outcomes with the tutor, Be aware of and work to relevant Health and Safety guidelines Beginners or those with more experience will enjoy the course.
