This pottery course in Deal is aimed towards improving skills, techniques and building on ideas. , Students will be encouraged through practice, group discussion, one to one and experimentation to follow their own path with clay. , At the end of the course students should be able to:, , - make their own designs in clay, - use different techniques (pinching, coiling, slab building, press moulding and throwing) , - decorate the forms using different surface techniques and experimentation, - glaze their work, - gain a more thorough understanding of firing techniques, - work according to Health and Safety This course in Deal is suitable for learners who have completed a beginners course and have developed the necessary skills and knowledge to progress to the improver level.
