Lino Printing - Summer School

This Summer school is the perfect opportunity to develop your skills on this intensive one week course. Get to grips with various ways of creating line work using cutting tools. You will look at various effects and use of papers to develop and create your own style and individual project. Students will be able to use lino printing tools, make a reduced print. They will make a lino block print and colour block print. Be able to understand and impliment Health and safety with regard to this craft. Beginners or those with experience in printing will equally benefit from this course. Please note a degree of manual dexterity will be necessary to get the most out of these classes as this is a practical subject.

Entry requirements

All students should bring an A4 sketchbook if possible to record ideas and plan designs and pencils. Please note materials and equipment can be bought from the tutor on the course. If you have any lino printing equipment please bring it along. There may be a small charge for paper an inks.
