Drawing still life is an important part of developing your drawing skills. This short course is a great opportunity to get right down into the techniques of capturing still life and produce an individual project., , The course will cover the selection and arrangement of a Still Life Group., The planning of a Still Life Composition., Basic drawing skills with emphasis on angles and relationships in a group., Students will cover a range of Drawing media to explore Line, Tone and Colour., Historical and Contemporary Artist reference where appropriate. Beginners and those with little experience.

Entry requirements

If you are a new student and have no materials please wait for your tutor's advice on what to buy. However, all students should bring an A4 sketchbook of good quality cartridge paper, preferably with a hard cover and ring bound and a variety of pencils., , You will need to provide your own materials and these will vary in cost according to the course requirements. Some of our centres have their own 'shops' where you are able to buy things at competitive prices., , If you have any materials/equipment that might be appropriate please bring them with you.
