In this Stretch and Tone class, you will perform dance-based exercise routines to a wide range of music. Lessons will include a warm up and a combination of low impact aerobic work with muscle toning exercises and stretches to improve flexibility, stamina, muscular strength, co-ordination and posture. , , Students will also be told the health benefits of dance based fitness classes and the teaching will reflect the different fitness levels of individuals. , , You will be asked to complete a health questionnaire before you start your first lesson. , , By the end of this course you should be able to:- Perform the dance moves with minimal guidance- Explain the benefits of combining fitness with dance- Recount at least three ways in which exercises can benefit health and wellbeing - Choose music suitable for their own personal practice. Anyone interested in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The course has been designed for anyone who would like to improve their fitness and health and enjoys group exercise classes.
