The day is theory based with a presentation covering the following areas, Cancer explained - Types of Tumours, Oncology - surgery - radiotherapy and chemo and the side effects, Palliative care, Impact of cancer, support groups, End of life care. There will be plenty of opportunity to discuss thoughts and ideas and interact with class members. The course is aimed at qualified complementary therapists who are considering working in a palliative care environment i.e hospice, care homes etc - reflexologists, aromatherapists and massage therapists., ,
