Watercolour and Drawing - Improvers

This Art course is designed to improve drawing skills and provides a wide range of approaches to using watercolour and mixed media. The emphasis is on developing an indivdual approach from past experience if any. Themes will be suggested which will concentrate on studying from observation but some projects will involve working from imagination or developing work in an abstract direction. This is a mixed level course and beginners are welcome.

Entry requirements

If you are a new student and have no materials please wait for your tutor's advice on what to buy. However, all students should bring an A4 sketchbook of good quality cartridge paper, preferably with a hard cover and ring bound and a variety of pencils.You will need to provide your own materials and these will vary in cost according to the course requirements. Some of our centres have their own 'shops' where you are able to buy things at competitive prices.If you have any materials/equipment that might be appropriate please bring them with you.
