History - Medieval Women

We will look beyond the myth of the meek fair maiden and see what life was really like for women in the middle ages. From the cradle to the grave, rich and poor, from queens to washerwomen, nuns to prostitutes, we will explore the roles played by women and what happened if they failed to conform! Anyone interested in medieval history. No prior knowledge is necessary but a good understanding of English is essential.
