Sugarcraft - Introduction to Modelling Flowers

This short course is an ideal introduction to making sugar flowers. During the course you will make both wired and unwired flowers and discuss their uses. We will also discuss the food safety issues associated with wired sugar flowers. You will learn to how to use cutters to make a range of unwired blossoms and leaves. You will also learn how to make both unwired and wired roses., , At the end of the course you should be able to:, , - Make unwired blossoms and leaves, - Make an unwired rose, - Make a wired rose and rose leaves, - Identify the food safety issues associated with wired sugar flowers, - Use all tools and equipment safely, , There is no set 'homework', but you are welcome to practise and do further work at home., There is no qualification for this course., , Please be aware that the items produced throughout this course are for educational purposes only, not for consumption. This course is suitable for anyone interested in learning how to make sugar flowers from beginners to those with some experience of sugarcraft.
