This 'Creative Writing - Short Stories' course in Maidstone is designed to help students develop their skills in writing imaginative and effective short stories on a range of topics. , , A range of resources will be used to stimulate and inspire writing and by the end of the course students should be able to identify the key elements of an effective short story, select and use appropriate narrative techniques, and create believable characters and plot-lines to ensure reader engagement. , , Students need to be willing to share their work with the group and to constructively evaluate and discuss their own work and that of the other students in a supportive and friendly manner. This course in Maidstone is for people with some experience of creative writing who wish to develop their skills in writing short stories. Beginners are also welcome and will be given additional support if required.
