This 'Drama Workshop' course in Maidstone will offer students the opportunity to develop vocal potential and skills through dramatic interaction with others. A lively, practical approach will enable the student through creative role play, improvisation, movement and text to realise more fully a wide range of vocal activities and expression. The sessions will introduce the student to a variety of ideas for inspiration., , By the end of the course students will be able to:, , - Possess a fundamental knowledge of vocal technique gained through creative experience., - Play a diverse number of creative roles with a fuller range of vocal expression., - Adopt an appropriate mode of voice for the genre/style of a piece., - Add emotional colour through vocal commitment to a role., - Be in command of vocal expression through the experience and practice of a wide range of voice exercises., - Respond spontaneously and creatively using the voice effectively to communicate the 'magic if' to an audience. The course is designed for anyone who would like to gain confidence through creative participation in drama or would like to extend their 'voice'. Drama and vocal exercises can also increase confidence and improve communication skills in the workplace., , This course is suitable for beginners and those with some experience of drama and/or vocal projection.
