Drawing and Painting - Beginners

This course is designed to teach you the basic techniques to drawing and painting and develop confidence and skills through a range of weekly tutored workshops. , You will explore a range of exciting materials, colour creation, light and shade, as well as artistic styles, applying techniques and tips to landscape, still life and personal projects. Materials you could use within your projects are Watercolour, Oil and Acrylic paints, charcoal, crayons and pastels., This course will be informative, challenging and fun., , , For beginners or those who just want to have a go., It is important to note that Art courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity. If you need to bring a carer with you, or be accompanied by another person, please ask to speak with the Programme Manager before you enrol.

You should bring an A3 sketchbook of good quality cartridge paper and a variety of pencils (HB and 2B are ideal) if you have them. , During the course you will need to provide your own materials and these will vary in cost according to the course requirements.
