This Upholstery is an intensive course for those with experience to work on a piece of furniture of their own choice with one to one support. This 3 day course is for those with some experience of using webbing, horse hair and springing and want to spend the 3 days working to complete their projects. Demonstrations will be given on a individual basis to enhance the project you are working on. All experienced students are welcome, it is not designed with the beginner in mind., It is important to note that craft courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity. If you need to bring a carer with you, or be accompanied by another person, please ask to speak with the Programme Manager.

Apart from pens and notebooks please do not buy books or equipment before the start of the course. A small charge is made for tacks and string. Most upholstery materials are usually available to be purchased at the centre. Students leaving furniture at the centre do so at their own risk.
