Crochet for Beginners

Learn (or re-learn) the basics of crochet from chain to double and treble crochet stitches, and slip stitches. You will learn about yarn types and weight, hook sizes and tension. As the course progresses, you will be able to work towards a set project based on granny squares or start to make a crocheted item of your choice with guidance. You will also learn about chrocheted charts and how to decipher a written pattern., , By the end of this course, you should:, , - have knowledge of a range of crochet stitches, - basic knowledge of reading charts and patterns, - be able to 'read' your crochet and start to learn how to correct mistakes, - have the key skills to be able to start your own projects, , There is limited parking on site, but there is a public car park nearby and on-street parking.
