This Higher Aprenticeship incorporates Work Based Learning (WBL) and a highly respected technical qualification in one of two pathways: FdSc Applied Business Computing OR FdSc Computing with Networking. The Foundation Degree is equivalent to the first two years of a Bachelor's Degree and invloves attending college 1 full day each week for a seies of taught modules. Applied Business Computing includes a range of modules appropriate for apprentices working in business on devloping online applications including complex ralational databases, websites and mobile applications. Computing with Networking includes modules appropraite for apprentices working in user/technical support and network maintenance and incorprates CISCO qualifications. Work Based Learning involves completing a range of units selected in liaison with your employer, your assessor and yourself to match the job role and career path you are working toward. You will develop a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate the skills and compentences you have developed in your work role.
