This course is designed for students who wish to gain a sports qualification to further their career aspirations in the sports and leisure industries, or prepare them for further training or higher education. A range of units will be studied over 2 years which cover all aspects of Sport and Exercise including: practical, anatomy, physiology, psychology, training, coaching, injuries, and biomechanics. You will study in our newly refurbished Sports Centre (The Peter Paine Performance Centre) which is open to the public outside of lessons providing you with a real working environment to study in that's dedicated to ensuring you have all the skills you need for working in the industry.
