This course is designed to provide a specialist work-related qualification in IT. It will give learners the knowledge, understanding and skills that they need to progress to further education and training in the IT sector. The BTEC Level 2 Diploma in IT is broadly equivalent to 4 GCSEs. The course is delivered using a balance between practical and theory. E-learning, one-to-one support, individual learning plans, external visits, events and speakers are all included. The year is divided into two semesters and you will be expected to complete at least 4 units each semester.
