CERTIFICATE IN KNOWLEDGE OF POLICING (TUES FRI)

UPDATED 20160408 09:24:46

Delivered by qualified police trainers, learning will cover essential knowledge and practice from providing an initial response, initial support to victims and witnesses, interviewing and search techniques through to arrest. The course will also include advice on the preparation for the police selection process, including advice on the health and fitness test. Unlike courses offered elsewhwere, we do not just deliver the basic theory. Our course is a couple of days longer than most and delivered through a blended approach which comprises taught sessions, discussion, role play, staged scenarios, guest speakers and self-directed study - all designed to reinforce the learning process through linking it to real police practice. You will also benefit from access to approved, specialised online learning resources available on the College of Policing web-based learning environment (NCALT).
