The BTEC Firsts in Health and Social Care have been developed in the health and social care sector to focus on: education and training in health and social care, providing opportunities for learners to gain a nationally recognised vocationally specific qualification to enter employment in the health and social care sector. Topics that you will be studying could include: Communication and Individual Rights within the Health and Social Care Sectors Anatomy and Physiology for Health and Social Care Human Lifespan Development, healthy living Creative and Therapeutic Activities in Health and Social Care, The Impact of Diet on Health. There are no work placement requirements for this course but throughout the duration of the course you will be experiencing practical activities relevant to the individual units.
