Learn the skills required to instruct and lead in a Fitness/Gym based environment. You will learn the basics of anatomy and physiology, how to plan, conduct and evaluate a fitness gym induction session as well as how to deal with clients. There are both practical and theoretical modes of study culminating in a two multiple choice examinations and two practical assessments. The following units are studied: 1 - Anatomy and Physiology 2 - Client Support 3 - Health, Safety and Welfare 4 - Principles of Exercise and Fitness 5 - Planning Gym Based Exercise 6 - Instructing Gym Based Exercise.
