BTEC First Diploma in Engineering Level 2

Studying the Level 2 City & Guilds Certificate alongside the Level 2 Diploma in Engineering will form the full Level 2 course. This course is designed for school leavers who are looking at entering the work force in an engineering discipline, especially those seeking Apprenticeships. It will centre on practical skills and abilities but also develop academic skills. The course will cover the basic requirements of an Apprenticeship programme allowing successful learners to embark on an Apprenticeship with an engineering company with much of the required framework already in place. The course will cover an academic certificate at Level 2 or above, a Performing Engineering Operations Level 2 and Functional Skills.
