This course is aimed at students interested in designing and developing computer games. You will study four core units: Understanding the computer games industry Research techniques Pre and production techniques Communication skills for creative media You will also study specialist units including: Computer game story development Flash for games Digital graphics Games platforms and technologies Designing tests for games Sound for games 3D modelling Games engines Creative media production project Human computer interfaces 3D animation During the course you will have the chance to meet professionals from the games industry and attend exhibitions, opportunities that will help to raise your awareness of how you might apply your skills in industry. Throughout this course you will develop both Functional and Employability Skills
