This course prepares you with skills and knowledge in a variety of topics that will prepare you for the next level of education or a job in Childcare. You will need to be prepared to attend college 3 days per week and attend work experience 2 days per week. Examples of units you will study are: Theme 1: Health and well-being Theme 2: Legislation, frameworks and professional practice Theme 3: Play, development and learning for school readiness Theme 4: Professional development You will study approximately 9 units per year and will have the opportunity to upgrade Maths and English GCSE subjects.
