Manicure Level 2 Award

The aim of the course is to give the learner a thorough knowledge of improving the condition and appearance of the skin and nails. The successful learner will be awarded a nationally recognised qualification enabling them to embark on a career as a manicurist. Home study is essential and you will need to practice outside of class time. The facilities available on site are of an excellent standard. Course Content 1. The theory and practice of manicure 2. Relevant Anatomy and Physiology 3. Employment Standards 4. Client Care Progression Level 2 Award in Nail Technology, Level 2 Award in Nail Art, Level 2 Award in Pedicure and all other beauty courses offered.

Name: Manicure Level 2 Award Qualification title: City and Guilds Award at Level 2 in Manicure Qualification type: Other regulated/accredited qualification Assessment A portfolio of evidence will be collected by the learner for assessment. This will consist of written, oral and observed practical evidence. Whilst Stafford College will attempt to encourage clients, learners should make every effort to provide their own clientele in order to complete their practical assessments.
