The NVQ Level 3 in hairdressing is designed for previously qualified hairdressers at NVQ Level 2 who are currently working within hairdressing or the next generation of salon managers who want to build on their skills as professionals. Excellent facilities are offered for this course with the use of Francesco Academy and access to student/learning support at Stafford College. Course Content The course is designed to meet the needs of hairdressers wishing to develop their skills with course modules including: Health & Safety; Advanced colour and colour correction; Develop and enhance creative hairdressing skills; Advanced cutting techniques; Style and dress long hair. We want to help ALL students to WORK TOWARDS Level 2 qualifications in these subjects, regarded as vital for employment and further study. Students on a Level 2 course at College WILL choose an intensive study option in English or Maths. WHEN you do that, you will also be able to improve your skills in the other subject while you are at College.
