An emphasis on learning by practical application of skills and as such there is a large element of time dedicated to practical workshop sessions. You will develop skills through practical problem solving, working on your own and as part of a team. There will be a strong focus on timekeeping, attendance of classes and participation in your learning. Assessment is by practical competence, written tests and written exams for Key Skills.
