The aim of this nine week workshop is to give you confidence in using a digital camera; this can be an SLR camera or a basic 'point and shoot' camera. You will be taught about resolution, pixels, image size, apertures, shutters and how to shoot in different lighting conditions. The course is intended for photography enthusiasts with little or no previous experience. The sessions are a combination of informal lectures, group and one to one discussions. You will aim to produce a small portfolio of images with a supporting 'log book'. Learners who have completed the Leicester College certificates in traditional photography will find this a useful session to attend to develop their skills further.
