The level 3 qualification comprises of the following core units: Health, safety and welfare in Construction (this unit can be carried forward from Level 1 or 2) and Principles of organising, planning and pricing Construction work. The following subject specialist units are also studied: Carry out first fix flooring and roofing, Carry out second fixing operations (these units can be carried forward from Level 2), Carry out first fix roofing and stairs, Carry out second fixing double doors and mouldings, Set up and use fixed and transportable machinery. English, Maths, Work Experience and modules relating to self employment are an integral part of this Study Programme and will form a substantial part of your timetable for 16-18 yr olds.
